ll trade members of the Ontario Ground Water Association are fully licenced and insured under the Ministry of Environment, Conservation, and Parks (MECP) -Regulation 903. It is illegal to work on and seek remuneration for work on water wells, or pumping systems for water wells, in the Province of Ontario without a Well Contractor's Licence for the company plus a Well Technician's Licence for the individual carrying out the work.
Well Technician Training
Well technicians must ensure their licence is renewed annually by accumulating CEC (continuing education credits).
The Ontario Ground Water Association endeavours to provide annual CEC Courses to assist with your licence renewal requirements.
